As much as anything, this site is a vanity. To the extent that it helps others on their journey, I'm glad - But at the end of the day, I built it firstly for my own enjoyment and expression.

I know that probably sounds rather selfish, but if there is a theme to this site (and I think there is) then it's got something to do with developing a sense of self. That's by definition a selfish process.

Anyway, make of that what you will. This section contains essays on a variety of subjects that are unapologetically self-absorbed.

Actually, that's only half true...I do apologize, but they're still self absorbed.

Oh, one more thing. Even though they are vain writings, they are original creations of the author, and as such copyright protected.
